COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Maybe you’re not in the mood for a raspberry flavored, low carb, ice, dry maltsicle, and you certainly aren’t in the mood for a Rotgutzen. You are, however, always in the mood for a Pinstripe. Brewed with caramel malts and Liberty hops, the Pinstripe has a slight fruity finish and dance.

12 oz bottle pours a copper color and clear with a quickly dissipating head that leaves light patchy lacing. Aroma and flavor of caramel malts, light hop bitterness, toasted grains, and biscuits. Light to medium body with a smooth feel and finishes crisp and dry. Pretty mild flavor, pretty sessionable.

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Pours a cloudy amber with a nice thin head. The nose has stewed apple, maybe raisins. The taste has a bit of a cherry note but certainly more dried fruit and some malt. The palate is light to medium in body with a tangy texture and a refreshing finish. Overall, it’s alright but got a lot of other fruits than raspberry!

Pours copper with brown hues and a small white head. Nose is caramel, grassy, banana, peaches. The flavor is sweet at first but then comes a really nice bitter that would be expected from a beer of this style. The mouthfeel is crisp and clean, the body is light and the finish is long.

From notes. Bottle poured into a shaker. This beer is just ok. Grapefruit and citrus in the aroma and taste, but pretty weak. There are a lot better versions of this style out there, and this is pretty bad coming from Ska.

This red ale has a nice amber color to is and a good scent of malts. It has a semi heavy malt taste and a slight taste of hops nicely mixed together. Overall it has a decent flavor that drinks smooth. Definetly worth a try.

Bottle. Amber, red brown with an off white foam. Aromas are toffee and toast malts with hints of stewed pear and lemon. Black tea with spices. Flavours are caramel and rye bread with lemon and hints of strawberry. Flat on the finish. Yawn.

12oz Bottle. The pour was a clear copper orange with some light peach highlights and an average (1-2 finger) off white frothy head that was mostly diminishing, reducing to a medium film and large collar and having fair spotty lacing. The aroma was of a light bread malt, grassy hops and a soapy yeast with notes of caramel and citrus (grapefruit). The taste was a lot like the aroma with a light bitter malty flavor with just a hint of caramel early on, progressing with a mild hoppiness and a light citrus presence towards the finish. The flavor lasted an average time after the swallow with a light citrus peel bitterness left behind. Mouthfeel was light in body with a watery, dry texture and a mild carbonation. Overall I found this brew to be a mildly hoppy and slightly fruity Red Ale with a very good drinkability...
