Bottle thanks to Perrin515. Pours black with tan head. Nose is orange cream, toasted chocolate malt and milk sugar. Very nice. Taste is same, but the orange is sugary and artificial and doesn’t meld seamlessly with the milk sugar. Has a bit of an aspirin feel to the texture. Overall, a much better beer than the ratings suggest, but not great. Body on the lighter side of medium.

Bottle shared by badnewsbeers. Deep brown body with reddish highlights, thin tan discontinuous head. Weird nose, acrid with booze and chemicals, like cigar smoke embedded in fabric. Tastes like some toys I had in the 1980s with burnt plastic and paint, also roast and orange cream. Bizarre and mostly unpleasant.

Bottled. Pours dark brown, with a beige head. Spicy aroma, orange peel, chocolate, malt, caramel. Off-dry, medium body and bitterness, balanced CO2. Malty taste, oranges, chocolate, caramel, ashes, coffee beans. Quite odd, but not all unpleasant. (2012-10-04)

A dark brown, nearly black pour, it is a carbonarated milk stout with nice orange flavor on the finish. I enjoyed it. I am a fan of creamsicles, so that probably helps as well.

(22oz bottle) dark brown with tan head. Nose and taste of orange, chocolate malt, like a cream sickle. Pretty cool!

Bottle shared by my good buddy - thanks, Jeff! Slightly thinnish dark brown, was certainly expecting something a bit heftier for the style (and the aspirations). Nose was ever so slightly lactic with orange rind. Mouthfeel thin and the carbonation was moderate. It tasted less like a creamsicle to me than one of those dark chocolates with orange peel that sneak into candy assortments. Odd bit of heat on the tongue and a slight mentholated feeling too. Didn’t hate it at all but certainly not what I was expecting.

Bottled. The aroma is pretty much orange scented kitchen cleaner with a touch of milk and roasted aromas. Gross flavor. Tastes like an orange tootsie roll with an aftertaste of orange kitchen cleaner. Ew. This is easily the worst beer I’ve had in the past year. Special thanks goes to adnielsen for trading me this horrible beer.

Nearly a black pour, tan head. Sweet creamsicle meets a sweet milk stout. Not really much more to say. Its a bit artificial and a bit bad...but not quite as bad as I thought it would be.
