COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The perfect robust porter: The sharp bitterness of the black malt sits nicely within the overall malty sweetness. Full bodied with a medium hop bitterness.

Six different malts are combined to create this complex Robust Porter. Perle and Willamette hops are added to fashion the perfect balance for which the Ten Pin is renowned.

Not bad, certainly one of SKA’s better beers. As compared to other breweries’ stock porters, this one is middle of the road. Has the nice chocolate and coffee flavors with a slightly watery body. Mild when it comes to the hops, there is not much that makes this stick out. Still, a solid porter.

Bottle at Meade Station, Denver - 01/06/12. Dark brown with a then head that soon dissipated. Roasted malts, chocolate, coffee in both aroma and taste. Bog standard porter basically!

Good, basic porter. Nothing fancy. Lots of roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate, and caramel. Little bit of hop bit in the back end . Much better beer when warm as beer becomes much richer and fuller and the hops come alive and give nice bitterness to it.

Aroma is a mix of coffee bitterness, a hint of caramel and hops. The flavor is malts, caramel, grapefruit hops and a hint of citrus. It wasn’t bad but it tasted more like a Black IPA; I don’t get why so many brewers keep trying to call these "new wave Porters."

Bottle pours all foam, khaki with a black drip at the bottom, seems way over carbonated like a bad home brew project. The snarl is rotated gain and dark fruit. Taste wise it seems ok, roasted beyond most porters, a good bit of bitter chocolate, a little espresso and a dry hoppy kick with some under lying cherry like flavor. Overall ok, would like to try a non jacked up bottle.
