3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Drank from a cold can at Maplewood Summer Concert in the Park series, thanks Jed! Basic easy-drinking golden/blond ale, malty and hoppy, nicely balanced, with a little ale yeast esters. I didnít detect any honey, except just a mellow residual sweetness. Light-medium body, strong carbonation, nice alcoholic strength near the top of sessionable range. Decent, drinkable, approachable.

From can at Cafe Fiasco. Hazy, pale yellow. A bit spicy nose followed by hay in the mouth. Hints of earth. Uncomplicated, but drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I had some bombers from Ska back in 2007 and they werenít very good at all to the point that it was reluctant to even try Ska again, but itís hard to say no to it when here in Durango, CO and I enjoyed a couple pints of this from a growler fill... Aroma of pale malt, light honey, and floral hops; pale gold in color with a minor chill haze; flavor is much the same as the aroma with fruit pale malt, a dab of honey flavor and sweetness, and a balancing amount of floral hops; Medium light body and easily drinkable; fairly crisp and goes down very easy on a 92 degree day; Iím fairly pleased with this beer and would like to try more locally on draught...

Light beer with smooth taste and simple golden appearance. Good overall mix and this is a beer you can have all day.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance was clear yellow gold with rocky diminishing white 1/2 finger head, no lacing. Aromas are simple pils malts with clean yeasts profile and very soft noble hops. Taste are malt forward with soft corn, pils sweetness then soft noble hops. The water profile is good with this style, clean yeasts. Palate was soft creamy CO2 with light body, then easy drinkable crispy finish. An solid example of a Blonde.

Tap: lemony grain aroma with a yellow look and a white head. Thin and watery. Ok. The low rating fits this.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can pour. A fair to middling blonde ale, no discernible qualities that make this one I would go for on the regular but overall it provides exactly the experience you would expect. Light bodied and somewhat watery with a sweet undertone. Not bad.

I quite liked this, and I donít usually drink Blonde Ales that often. Nice, crisp, flavorful, a decent dose of yeast and citrus. Above average. On draft by the pitcher at Daily Dose, Phoenix. Others enjoyed it as well.
