drywall_man (188), Lake in the Hills, Illinois, USA Aug 14, 2006 Swigged directly from the bottle, so appearance ratings could be off. Mild, light, some malt, a little sweetness. A very slight balancing hops. OK for a hot day quencher.
The_Beer_God (2827), Newport News, Virginia, USA Jun 29, 2008 Bottle. Golden pour with a voluminous white head. Light honey notes in the aroma along with soft fruit and sweet malts. Touch of graininess as well. Taste is sweet malts, honey, lemony tartness, floral hops and soft spice. Body is medium but firm with bubbly carbonation. Finishes with more sweet malts, honey, light lemon, some yeast, floral hops and a touch of spice. JCB (949), Durham, North Carolina, USA Jun 25, 2008 On draft at The Federal, Durham. Well I’d hoped this would prove sufficiently thirst-quenching on a very hot evening. It barely did even that. Looks like BMC on the pour, and it’s got almost nothing in the way of aroma - some light fruit perhaps. Body is average, carbonation medium. Other than a trace of pepper and the aforementioned fruit, this is really almost completely anonymous. FunkyBrewster (114), Chicago, Illinois, USA May 25, 2008 Aroma was light citrus fruity. Golden color and a small white head. Very malty and grainy with a citrus fruit quality to it. Some sweetness from the honey. Pretty light on the body. Very middle of the road beer with a lot to be desired. sneagrams3 (1367), St. Louis, Missouri, USA May 24, 2008 The Dan Journal #168. Tasted 5/3/08. 22oz bomber. Filtered with a pale golden hue. Bubbled head. Grainy and peppery. Tangy and tart. Touch honey. Chalky. Light bodied. Sticky and dought. Meh... Zinister (855), Houston, Texas, USA Mar 31, 2008 Foam Rangers tasting. Gold color with white head. Nose is malt and a bit of funk. Flavor is rather light bodied and lacks depth. Eh.
