3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium ivory white head that evaporates steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of sweet malt and yeast plus some banana. Medium body with a sweet fruity character and notes of doughy malt and yeast. The finish is short with a banana and wheat aftertaste. Pretty average overall.

Clear golden-orange with a tiny, dirty looking whitish head. Mild aroma of bubble gum, spice, bread and banana. A bit of a thin taste that’s yeasty, spicy and sweet with alcohol and a mild bitterness. Medium bodied, kind of flat. Not very good.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle at Chris O’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Golden color. The aroma and flavor is sweet and tart with perfumy honey, pepper, restrained clove. Somewhat surprisingly, brings sake to mind.
