2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
If you like to dip Peppermint Patties into stout, you will love this. The first couple of sips were novel, but that wore off pretty quickly.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Black oily body with large dark brown creamy head that rapidly disappears into non-existence. The mintiness is most evident in the aroma, and displays itself like a peppermint patty, but in the flavor, it comes off as a little medicinal menthol flavor. Roast and burnt chocolate. Decent, but the flavor just doesn’t do it for me. A little thin on the palate.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Can from Sugaya. Choco-mint candy nose, with some roastiness and a bit of coffee. Dark translucent brown color with ruby highlights. Chocolate mint, again, in initial flavors. Rather sweetish and a bit too much cola note. Thin body. The mint is not overpowering, but it is everpresent and overpresent. Body is fairly thin. Interesting for the first few sips but not beyond that.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at home Wednesday 10th September 2014 Pours black with a mid sized frothy off-white actually light beige head. An experience not unlike drinking a stout immediately after cleaning your teeth. Clean, fresh, minty but with those usual stout characteristics in the background. A great mouthwash of a stout that is actually better than it sounds. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov13 3.3

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
"I think this would work better if it were a bigger beer, as the thin feel is almost overwhelmed by the enormity of the aroma and flavors, but it’s still solid. At 7,8,9% though, it’d probably be epic. Nose is spearamint and peppermint dominated, as is the flavor, with vanilla and chocolate playing an important backup role. The menthol of beers. I dug it. A couple in our party did not, but the rest of the 6er will make a nice after dinner brew. Best by last week, so I better hurry up on that."

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Black beer with a light head. The aroma is like after eight mints with other herbal attributes, and the flavour is minty with a very light bitterness. Overall just a minty stout, I prefer the coffee versions far more.

Huge chocomint nose. Basically feels like drinking After-Eight, quite creamy almost like melted ice cream. Some may hate it bit a fun drink for dessert.
