Actually the WORST beer I’ve ever had IN MY LIFE. I’m three beers into the six pack over two weeks and I decided, after opening and sipping the fourth, that I could not stand another drop of this horror. Combine any cheap mouth wash with an otherwise probably tasty stout. Slam it into a can. Waste my time and money.

This is a fun beer... tastes similar to the chocolate mints you can get at Olive Garden. Good mouth feel and very good taste if u like mint.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Can from Trembling Madness, York. This is a very dark brown-black beer which pours with a thin tan head. It has an extremely unusual mint and chocolate flavour, slight coffee notes an more gentle mint on the finish. Amazingly different and just like an After Eight chocolate in a bottle!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
355 ml can.
Pours black color with a small off-white head. Aroma is - surprise, surprise - quite minty, some milky chocolate and cocoa follow with subtle ginger notes. Flavor is quite spicy at first, then come the mint and chocolate, nice hints of vanilla, dark malt notes and some cocoa on the finish as well. Feels a bit light and at times christmassy, not quite sure what to think of this. I have to admit I had my fare share of doubts about this one, but it’s quite interesting to say the least, and not offensive at all (as I feared).

Dark brine pour, brown head. So the mint is there but in a natural and smooth way. It actually wit is well with the stout.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Interesting one this. The smell reminds me a lot of chocolate chip mint ice cream, which lead me to thinking that maybe the beer would be overly cloying and sweet. Luckily it isn’t and rather the mint tastes natural and complioments the stout fairly well. I can’t see myself wanting to drink more than one can of this at a time, however I am glad to have given it a go!

Sehr dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner leicht bräunlichen Schaumkrone.
Geruch stark nach Pfefferminze, etwas Schokolade. Im Antrunk starker Pfefferminz Geschmack, Kaugummi. Im Abgang kommen dann auch Kaffeearomen durch. Wirkt leicht scharf durch die Minze.
