COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
WheelSucker Wheat, a collaboratively brewed 7.2% mountainous hefeweizen from Avery and Ska.

Adam Avery and his brewers came down to Durango and brewed it up with the folks at Ska. A few weeks later Dave Thibodeau and Arlo from Ska went up to Boulder and then they all rode their bikes 426 miles from Avery to Ska, over a ridiculous number of mountain passes.

On tap at Avery, pours slightly hazy yellow with white head. Aroma of fruity lemon, orange, some pear, touch of spice and yeast notes as well. Taste is some fairly weak fruit with lemon, pear, slight orange with a slight spice and yeast note, finishing slightly dry and fairly sweet.

Tap @ Avery. Somewhat cloudy, yellow orange appearance with a white head. Lemon citrusy, wheat malty nose. Slightly tart, lemon citrusy, slightly yeasty, wheat flavor. Not bad.

Aroma has a nice grainy scent to it with a bit of lemony citrus intermingled. Appearance is a clear golden with a medium white had that diminishes quickly and really carbonated in the glass. Taste is subtle refreshing, lightly sour, wheat, lemon, and overall really clean and smooth. Overall, Really nice session beer. I could sit outside and drink these all day. Cheers!

Tap. Pours hazy yellow with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is wheat and cereal malt with citrus notes, light hops and faint banana. Flavor is lightly bitter citrus, wheat and cereal malt with a dry finish. Light body, low warmth, and medium carbonation.

On tap @ Avery. Slightly hazy yellowy gold, thinish white head. Lemony wheat aroma, with some slightly grassy notes. Tasted disappointedly medium bodied. Flavor of grassy wheat, light lemon, with a faint bublegum aftertaste. Yeasty finish. Just not special or unique enough for me. Standard wheat ale, even if a little high on the ABV.

pours a thight offwhite head with yellow color. Aroma is light malt-bready, grassy. Taste is lots of carbonation upfront and down the throat, sweet light malt-bready, grassy/spice hops. Cold is better.
