Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jan 16, 2007 Bottled. A hazy orange beer with a light brown head. The aroma is sweet with light notes of hops and fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of fruit, and lesser notes of hops, as well as hints of burnt malt, leading to an end with hints of grass. The mouthfeel is a bit sticky, after a thin start. omhper (10728), Stockholm, Sweden May 21, 2007 Draught at Københavnske Øldage. Hazy amber, small head. Perfumy nose with lychee, grapefruit and soap. Sweet and rather bold with notes of cookies and some crystal malt character. Lots of American graepfruity hops. Salty resiny bitterness. Very good flavours, but too hard in the mouth. Papsoe (10407), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 22, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Ever so slightly hazy amber golden with a rough, off-white head. Slightly citric nose. Medium-bodied with light notes of caramel and fruit. The bitterness in the finish comes off a bit brutal - I would’ve liked a more subtle and refined hoppiness. 150107 yespr (6889), Copenhagen O, Denmark Jan 19, 2007 50 cL bottle.
