Ungstrup (11137), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 28, 2007 Bottled. An unclear orange-golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of wheat and citrus. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of wheat and a very perfumy note of citrus as well as some spices, leading to a smooth dry bitter wheaty finish. Not special in anyway. Thanks to MadsBerg for hauling this home to me from Skagen. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 20, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Very cloudy golden with a dense and stable, white head. Lightly sweet aroma - coriander? - although I’m not sure this spice is actually added. Medium body with a very smooth mouthfeel, lightly acidic citris notes while the finish is dry. 030407 yespr (6362), Copenhagen O, Denmark May 13, 2007 CBF07 Sample from 50 cL bottle. Light spice, light yeast and some citric notes. Flavour is bland. Spices, sweetness, light herbs. Is medium bodied with some watery notes. Is citric and "wheaty" in the end.
