Clear medium amber color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lancing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, citrus - orange, smoked meat. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (200508)

Bottled. Amber colour, not much head. Aroma is smoked wet wood as well as some malty and hoppy notes. Flavour is mild saltwateryness combined with smoked wet wood and some breadyness. As it gets warmer some slight notes of tar lurks in the background.
