Jun 7, 2008 500ml bottle, thanks to Skinnyviking. Beige, bubbly foam topping a devil-black body. Vague dark malty to the nose. Overall dry malty taste with a peaty touch. Cheese and wood also play a part in the flavour. Rounded palate and quite easy going (shared with Finn A., 29.05.2008).

May 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours a pitch black colour with small nougatty head. Aroma is roasted, caramel and chocolate. Flavor is chocolate, coffee and malt. Decent but lacks a little ka-pow!!

Mar 20, 2008 500 ml bottle, RBNAG07. Pitch black. Tall fine-laced beige head. Powdery cocao flavours. Alcohol sweetness. Chocolate. Somewhat oily. High carbonation. Crisp hops. Nice composition of complex dark malts.

Reddish-brown colour with light brown head. Big toasty aroma with caramel and a touch of tar. Light bodied and bit sweet with notes of chocolate, caramel and popcorn, the latter seemingly from amber malt. Light-medium body with no notable bitterness.
