Pours dark red with great retention. Floral, piney hops, some sweeter caramel malts, and then a blast of bourbon and vanilla, followed by a softer malt sweetness that takes a little edge off. Alcohol is rather big, and this one is hot, but enjoyable. Would like to try again! Skyview (4121), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA

Pours a clear red copper brew with no head but with a thin film top. Aroma of bourbon, caramel malt, figs, a touch of coconut and some dark pitted fruits. Taste is full bodied, thick and chewy with flavors of caramel malt, bourbon, a touch of vanilla and toffee. Finish has a sweet bourbon and caramel aftertaste that slowly changes to some candi sugar, toffee and a lingering bourbon. WOW is all I can say after all that.
