Bomber from trade with michaelinwa. Niiice aroma roast chocolate smoke. Black pour no head. Taste when cold was great and less so as it warmed. Definite roast and chocolate in taste. Some burnt flavor and some bitter and alcohol. Good brew

Bomber from trade with michaelinwa. Pours pitch black with a small head that fades quickly. Decent lacing. Aroma lacks complexity but is still pretty nice. Mostly chocolate and roast, touch of smoke. Taste is a bit on the sweet side for me. Not enough bitterness to counter. Good flavors though, rich chocolate, roast, smoke, and some caramel too. Love the mouthfeel, thick and oily. As the beer warms it turns into sticky tobacco, which I love. This was an excellent extra to receive in a trade. Thanks Mike.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2012 Deep black pour, thick, dense, resilient head. Aroma is light roasted malt. Flavor Taste is roasted malt, dark chocolate, and significant bitterness in the middle. Mouthfeel is slight thick and velvety. Finishes with lingering bitterness. Pretty nice stout that pushes the limits of intensity for me, but stays out of "overdone" territory. If I wanted a big, intense stout, this would be a good choice. Definite aging potential here, although not sure whether this is bottle conditioned/filtered.

22oz bomber poured into a snifter. Pours black with a half finger of dark brown head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and dark fruits. Taste is light bitter. Mostly coffee and dark chocolate with some fermented dark fruit. Full bodied with a thick texture. Lively carbonation and a long finish. Overall, great. I would love to try an aged version.

22 once bottle from LetsPour, poured a dark brown, almost black color. Aromas of coffee, dark chocolate, a touch of vanilla, and somme lactose. Flavor is big and balanced coffee and chocolate, blended nicely, solid beer that I am glad I got to try.

22oz bomber ordered from LetsPour. Pours a stout brown with an off-white head. Nose is roast, dark fruit, coffee, and dark chocolate. Flavor is similar with coffee, dark fruit, and dark chocolate. Medium in body and finishing with lingering coffee and dark chocolate. This one was kind of a dark horse. I was very nicely surprised by this one.

Black, frothy brown head. Aroma of dark fruit, malty sweetness, alcohol, not as roasty as expected. Taste is decent, pretty sweet, light roast bitter, alcohol is noticeable.

Good Stout. Pitch black with a fluffy tan head. Toasted espresso bean on the nose. Thick and full bodied with mocha and some dark chocolate. It doesn’t have the expression or length of top Imperial Stout on the finish compared to better versions.
