Bottle sampled at Papsø’s on 8/30/09: Pours a transparent bright copper orange with a small, clingy-lacing white head. Aroma of doughy Belgian malts and some citrusy grapefruity hops combined to form a touch of metallic character. Starts with a thick biscuity malty sweetness and some light fruity yeasty esters before a slightly drier bittersweet citrusy hoppy finish. A pretty interesting and well made brew.
3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 flemmingwillum (687) - Copenhagen S, DENMARK - JAN 24, 2010
UPDATED: FEB 11, 2010 Bottle from Skjold Burne, Frederikssundsvej. Aroma is complex but a little indistinct. Most obvious are the yeasts which reminds me of a wet autumn garden with over riped fruits and berries. Appearance is hazy amber, but the head dissapears quickly.
Taste is very nice! Fruits and berries from the autumn garden overrules all other world impressions, and presents you for cherries and traces of port wine. Theres a lot of apple, pears, cereal and caramel in this one, too! The finish is very sweet, almost sugary and ends with a solid bitter finish that stays in the mouth long after you have sunked the beer. Palate is closest to vegetable oil, and the beer seems very soft in the mouth. Very nice expierience.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Maria (7805) - Thisted, DENMARK - NOV 29, 2009
It’s hazy bronze with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of coriander and other spices, yeast, fruit and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of coriander, malt, fruit, yeast, spice, candy sugar and the finish has dry citrus notes. This was a great opportunity to brew something special, but.... I guess I have given up hope, that I ever will be surprised or even swept away by a beer from Skands.
