Skands Blå Chimpanse

Draught at EBF, Copenhagen. Sweet beer, lots of malt, a little sourness. Not very complex, very plain.

Small offwhite head. Cloudy yellowish dark brown body. Watery yeasty aroma with coke notes. Dry-sweet roasty sugary yeast taste with coke notes. Light body. Way too much yeast in this. (0.1l taster draft at EBF ’08.)

Malt aroma. Chestnut color with small off white head. Sweet malt body with a caramel note. Rather thin palate. Plain and boring.

Draught Red-brown, fully hazy with no head left. Bit fruity nose, milk chocolate - vague. Sweet-ish, fruity esters, yeast. Again milk chocolate flavour. Slick, medium bodied, but as uninteresting as inoffensive. A bit dull and sweet.

Draught at EBF 2008. Hazy orange brown coloured with a medium sized off white head. Fruity aroma of hay, caramel and hops. Fruity flavour of caramel and dark fruits with notes of hops. Hoppy finish.
