2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 rosenbergh (4653) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 22, 2012
500 ml bottle. Copenhagen, Denmark.
Slightly cloudy amber colour with small white head.
Sugary sweet Belgian yeast like malty aroma without real Belgian yeast.
Flavour is messy mixture of sweet maltiness, sugar, yeast and raisins. Not that good imitation of Belgian Ale.

500 ml bottle. Thanks Timo A.
Pours a brown colour with a small white head. Aroma of strawberry jam, banana and strong Belgian yeast. Flavour of grainy malts, strawberries, nuts, yeast and harsh bitterness. Light bodied, rough mouthfeel and a malty, bitter and berryish finish. Decent but unbalanced.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 MesandSim (7118) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 7, 2010
A Mes rate. Bottle in the apartment in Copenhagen. Sim went to the shops and came back with rates. Granted, not good ones, but rates all the same. Hazy amber brown with a big off white head that vanishes qucker than it forms. Bit of a fail. Malt and card and some dust. Thick sickly malt actually. Little hops to speak of, other than a faint bitterness in the finish. Faint spice and metal too. Blah. It’s perfectly drinkable. Just not particularly good.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Adenila (1543) - DENMARK - SEP 25, 2010
Sampled with the boys. Murky dark brown look with no head, almost. Sleightly candy sweet aroma, but mostly its just regular pale larger hop, malt combination. Flavor has the bitterness of standart eu hops and a light caramel and fruity sweetness. Its ok enjoyable, the style can just do incredible much more. In generel good belgian ales brewed outside belgium are hard to find.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 faroeviking (10284) - FAROE ISLANDS - MAY 21, 2008
Draught at Ørbæk Ølbar, Cph. Pours a murky brownish colour with a short lasting head. Aroma is a bit sweet with yeast, caramel and some malt. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet and quite yeasty with caramel, a good mild bitterness and some maltiness. The brewer had the Chimey Bleue in min when brewing this....??......
