2.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle @ Kolding Vinhandel.
Pours a deep red-brown with a good, creamy, off-white head. Becomes a thin film rather quickly. Aroma is spicy and a bit tart, som raisins, plums and yeast. Okay mouthfeel. Flavour is a bit tart, some oud bruin notes (but not in a terribly good way). Plums again, rather sweet finish and some yeasty off-flavours. Ikke particularly good.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
(On tap) Pours a hazy, muddy orangey brown with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, fruit and a little yeast. Medium body with a little sweet fruit. No bitterness. No thrill. 140908

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours what first seems chestnut brown with a medium head. Upon closer inspection, the colour turns out to be a sort of green-brown-yellow, sort of like a mezzo mix. Pleasant flavour, if somewhat watery and bubbly.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
A Danish attempt to do a typical Belgian strong ale. It is too sweet and lacks some body. I’ve had better from Skands.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Large bubbly beige head that mostly lasted. Fair display of lacework. Cloudy light brown like color. Aroma of fruity, yeast, hint of toasted malt, some spice as well. Medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Moderated sweet flavor. Malty sweet and fruity finish.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draught@EBF 2008. Muddy brown, one-finger beige head. Unfresh malts and yeast notes in the aroma. Taste is sour-sweet malts with a faint chocolate note. Light-bodied. Short malty finish. Not a favorite.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy brown color with a medium off-white head. Aroma and taste is very sweet and of malt, sugar and caramel. "A 7% Belgian style ale...what can go wrong?", right? Boring beer, too sweet and not very good. This chimpanzee pretty much zoo..ks. Oh well, it was cheap. :-)

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Small offwhite head. Cloudy yellowish dark brown body. Watery yeasty aroma with coke notes. Dry-sweet roasty sugary yeast taste with coke notes. Light body. Way too much yeast in this. (0.1l taster draft at EBF ’08.)
