2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Palme (1200) - Bergen, NORWAY - FEB 9, 2012
0.5l bottle. This one pours a clear straw-golden body with a small bubbly white head that quickly fades. The aroma is pale-malty with notes of some dusty hops, champagne soda and hints of something faint acidic. It’s average carbonated and it has a medium-oily mouthfeel. The taste is much more like your average+ lager just a bit sweeter and tastier. It’s quite malty, light fruit-zesty with some near dust-hoppy tones all the way from beginning to end. No clear off flavors, and in some strange way I find this quite tasty, but no way in Jerusalem this is a IPA in any way, no matter where you come from. 28.01.2012
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Rune (4671) - Tromsø, NORWAY - FEB 5, 2012
500ml bottle picket up at my local Vinmonopolet store, Langnes. Pours a fine white head, one-finger sized, and a near-clear golden body. Spotty lacing to the glassware. Ripe oranges and pale malts to the nose. Mid-sweet fruity taste including oranges and apricot joined by dough-like malts. Subdued dry bitter finish. Some refreshments in this, otherwise rather below par for the style (Tromsø, 04.02.2012).
0.6 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 1/20 Alexus (77) - Stavanger, NORWAY - JAN 26, 2012
Shared bottle @ Cardinal. This was a great disappointment, it says IPA, but when you pour this beer into the glass there is nothing that resembles to an IPA. The aromas is stripped from hops. There is no aromas from either american or noble hops. The body is thin and there is not much taste from the malts either. I could pass this as an "ok" ale, but as this is brewed as an IPA it’s a big fail.

Bottle of 50 cl. Slightly hazy pale yellow to golden with a medium white head of reasonable duration. The aroma is dominated by hops and citrus with notes of malt and grapefruit. The taste is medium sweet bitter and slightly floral with a hint of grapefruit. Ok IPA

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Cunningham (1754) - Halden, NORWAY - DEC 10, 2011
bottle - light hazy orange body with a small white head - light hoppy aroma - light malty and weak hoppy - hopless IPA to be honest
1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 ClubGonzo (1736) - Bergen, NORWAY - NOV 20, 2011
Bottle from Vinmonopolet, Bergen Storsenter. Light hazy orange body, small creamy white head. Aroma is orange peel-like citric tones, hints of grass, molasses and pale malts. Taste is mild citric-like grass tones, hints of pale malts and...well, not much else. A boring "IPA" which should have been a pale ale instead. It’d still be boring, but at least not as offensive to the style as this is. Come on.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 RuneStumo (1384) - FØRRESFJORDEN, NORWAY - NOV 19, 2011
19.11.2011. 0,5l Bottle. Vinmonopolet Haugesund. Yellow colour with white large head. Hazy. Aroma dominated by dry bitter hops. Medium to thin body with weak malty flavours. Not to good balance, low on malt and body but lots of dry aromatic hopping. A little watery mouthfeel. Dry bitter aftertaste with grassy notes.
