COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Danish: Elmegade IPA er en ale brygget på engelsk Maris Otter-malt og karamelmalt, som giver øllet en dyb og kobberagtig glød. IPAen har en vidunderlig fylde, en intens duft af frugt og er kraftigt humlet. Forvent en usædvanlig øl, som er brygget sammen med de kreative ejere af Ølbaren i Elmegade, København.

English: Elmedage IPA is an ale brewed on english Maris Otter and caramel malt which gives the beer a deep and coppery glow. The IPA has a wonderful full body and an intense aroma of fruit and an intense flavor of hops. Expect an unusual beer brewed in cooperation with the creative owners of Ølbaren, Copenhagen.

Hazy yellow with a fine, small white head. Slight hoppy aroma with hints of malt and fruits. Bitter flavour with plenty of fruitiness and casade. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Flowers, yeast and some citrus in aroma. Hops not very prominent. Cloudy yellow colour with large white head. Hops bitterness, yeast and smoke in flavour. A surprising flavour for an IPA.

Bottled. Big airy near-white head. Hazy, golden colored body. Mild fruity hop aroma. Taste has a well prononced malt base, quite dry, with some citric bitterness to support. Medium body. Clean. Dry bitter-fruity finish.

Bottle 70cl. Pretty amber/orange hazy body with medium size offwhite head leaving some laces. Lots of hops in the nose but also some sour notes. Lots of hops in the flavour and a nice bitter finish.

Hazy yellow orange color with a small, frothy, good lancing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, light to moderate hoppy, grapefruit, citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. (180508)

Bottel in Copenhagen. Deepish orange in hue. Suitably hoppy and malty for an IPA. Pick on the Skands that I tried.

Sample at Aarhus beerfestival. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are hops and flowers.

70 cl bottle, abv is 6,3%. Bougth at Irma City, Vesterbrogade. Hazy ornage color, nice off-white head. Aroma is hoppy and sweet. Flavor is sweet malt, hops and fruit.

Aarhus, DK Bottled Malt and fruits in the aroma. Hops as well. Bitterness is high but something special

Svesse (6843) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - APR 6, 2008
(Draught at Ölbaren, Copenhagen, 28 March 2008) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with apricots and floral hops. Fruity taste with notes of apricots, citrus and lots of floral hops in the finish. Nice fruity, floral bitterness on a solid malt foundation. Nice and well balanced beer.
