English: Elmedage IPA is an ale brewed on english Maris Otter and caramel malt which gives the beer a deep and coppery glow. The IPA has a wonderful full body and an intense aroma of fruit and an intense flavor of hops. Expect an unusual beer brewed in cooperation with the creative owners of Ølbaren, Copenhagen.

Pours amber with a small head. Aroma is unremarkable. Very unbalanced body; extremely bitter without the fullness to pull it off.

The pour and appearance of this beer did not impress, a hazy amber color that even with a relatively vigorous pour produced a thin, vapid head that dissipated quickly to almost nothing. The aroma is more notable and interesting, with fruity and grainy notes, floral and mild citrus hoppiness, a hint of caramel and dish soap. The flavor was another step up for me, this one is both interesting and pleasant. Starting with a toasty and biscuity malt flavor that’s a bit earthy, enhanced by hints of very ripe summer fruits, more citrus including lemon zest and tangerine, along with flavors of astringent dark green herbs and light resins. The mouthfeel is nice, medium body, mildly prickly and a slight stickiness in the lingering finish.

Bottle. Poured a dark gold with a white head. Aroma was a bit faint for an IPA, I picked up some pine and floral notes, as well as an unpleasant cleaning supply/soap note. Flavor was basic with a bit of floral and pine notes.

75cl bottle at home. orange, medium sized thick smooth wihte head. mild and faint hoppy aroma profile, faint grape, faint pine, faint flowery hops. a little soapy too. flavor is faint hoppy, toffee, some kind of grassy sweet corny note is ruining the flavor. i just had skipper clements morgenbajer - the svaneke beer is way more ipa like than this one. overall a rather boring beer.

Bottle. Flowers, yeast and some citrus in aroma. Hops not very prominent. Cloudy yellow colour with large white head. Hops bitterness, yeast and smoke in flavour. A surprising flavour for an IPA.

Bottled. Big airy near-white head. Hazy, golden colored body. Mild fruity hop aroma. Taste has a well prononced malt base, quite dry, with some citric bitterness to support. Medium body. Clean. Dry bitter-fruity finish.
