2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
0.5l bottle. This is a clear golden one, some unfiltered particles in the glass and a big massive - lasting white fluffy top. It does definitely not smell to hoppy this, even if the name would suggest that it should have. I get pale malts with something light floral and a bit dusty. Not to impressive really. It’s average+ on the carbonation and watery to oily on the mouthfeel. Not to hoppy in the taste either. Lots of citrus acidity here. Both lime and lemon, and it more on the sweet side than the hoppy side. When you call a beer hoppy delightfullness I expect it to be a bit more hoppy based than this. All that said, no clear off flavors and it’s easy and light drinkable as a pilsner. Actually not bad at all for what it is. 20.10.2012

Pissgul med stort skum som snabbt försvinner. Inte mycket till humle i den! Trodde det skulle vara mycket humle pga namnet!?

Pours a golden body, the white head is long-lived. Grainy aroma with pale malts and hints of noble hops. Light sweet taste, light to medium bitter finish. The flavours follow the aroma, plus clear notes of caramel. Crisp and pleasant mouthfeel. A very nice premium lager, even though the name of the brew made me expect an IPA.

Moderate grain aroma. Hazy yellow color with a small white head. Mild sour grain beginning that fades in the finish.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from duty free shop on DFDS cruise (Copenhagen, Denmark)
Pours a light amber color. Almost no head, but leaves some lacing on the glass. Aroma is quite typical of the style..mostly cheesy without much in the way of hop aromas. Taste is similar; seems to defy its name by offering only a very mild bitterness.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pilsener colour with a creamy white head. Piney aroma together with some sourness. Flavour is classic pilsener, some extra hop flavour. Maybe some East Kent Golding in the mix. A really good lager, but not fantastic.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden body with a small white head. Nose is floral, yeasty notes with heather and grass in the back. OK, but a bit faint. Taste is floral grass and heather tones, with hints of bread and herbs. Nice enough. Creamy palate, smooth carbonation. An OK thirst quencher, but no more.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at home. The colour is of golden dark straw, and has a medium white and nice head. Great aroma of hay, grass, pale malt, lime and spices. Feels more like a classic light lager in the flavour with more hay, grass, pale malt and some citrus and hops. Is a bit dry in the end. The mouthfeel is light and slick, and has a light bitterness. A surprisingly nice and well-balanced beer with a fine aroma that is leaning towards a saison in my opinion.
