unclear brown, small brown head. aroma of caramel and slight sourness. not very powerfull aroma. flavor is malty, slight roasted grains, brown sugar, faint butnice fruityness perhaps from the hops. faint spices. solid and decent but not fantasitic cristmas brew. for a belgian strong ale, perhaps a bit simple. good value for money.

Adenila (1557) - DENMARK - JAN 6, 2008
Dark brown look with a minimal baige head. Aroma is decent fruity and abit perfumy along with cloves and suger. Flavor is again decent fruity, but with a pretty harch bitterness that i dont like. Compared to all the different ingridients used, i think this beer is really uncomplex, the belgian yeast is a nice touch, but 5 different malts? Anyway, its an enjoyable brew.
