2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 flemmingwillum (811) - Nysted, DENMARK - JAN 25, 2013

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 visionthing (1637) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 9, 2012
50cl bottle. Pours dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark dried fruits, caramel and a hint of vanilla. Sweet and a bit thing. Weak flavours and doesn’t feel like a stout at all. Drinkable, but quite a disappointment. Shared a bottle with Alexgc at Navigators Bar, DFDS «Pearl of Scandinavia» (2012-04-05)
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 BeerSkull (902) - SWEDEN - SEP 9, 2011
Malty vaguely sour aroma with hints of brown sugar, caramel and figs. The taste is malty with the same flavors that are on the nose and with a light bitterness. Quite okay medium beer but a bit thin, and I would not call it a Stout!
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 JanLaursen (2155) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 31, 2011
Nutty brown, off-white head. Unsignificant slightly roasted caramel-aroma, weak hints of cocolate and nescafe. Taste is somewhat unfocused, watery, malty, bready with coffee-notes and a short mediumdry finish. Very low on hops, albeit a herbal note in the mouth. A strange slick mix between a dark czech lager and a Kilkenny. Not much stout, though, and more dusty than new in appearance.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 OleR (4247) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 5, 2011
0.5 L bottle, enjoyed @Navigator Bar, DFDS Crown of Scandinavia. Low creamy greyisjh-blond head. Brilliant, dark mahogny colored body. Modest aroma of bready dark malts, caramel and roasted nuts. Taste is fairly clean malty. Light sweet, light roasty, with faint peppery caramel. Body strenght is light plus. Slick mouthfeel Short clean finish with roasted endnotes. Not quite there, good drinkability though.
2.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 esp0r (1258) - NORWAY - JUL 9, 2011
Bottle at home
Pours brown with a redish hue, thin white head. Aroma of bubble gum and hints of yeast esters. Taste is much more powerful though. I find coffee and hints of caramel, medium malt body with some sweetness but not much. I get a very dry feel with this beer. Hop bitterness is almost floral. Very nice turn from the first impression but not enough to satisfy a better beer rate
