Cask. Pours a slightly cloudy, medium amber, with a white head. The aroma is quite spicy, malt, caramel, cinnamon, yeast, hops. Off-dry, medium body and bitterness, low CO2. Quite spicy taste, malt, yeast, hops, apricot, cloves. The slight sweetness grows towards the end, and gets a little bit in the way for me. Enjoyable, though. (2011-12-09)

Aroma of malt and caramel, reminiscent of a german dunkel. It is more malty and bitter however, but caramel is the only thing that stands out

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter ntoes of alcohol, leading to a dry spicy finish.
