Bottle at Williams Pub, Uppsala. A black color and a medium white head. Aroma is roasty and chocolaty with a note of coffee - very malty, nice. Taste is sweetish in the beginning with chocolaty maltiness promiment. Hoppiness is quite mild but that’s understandable in a porter, especially with an abv as low as 5 %. Light to medium body. Flavours were surprisingly strong in this porter, I enjoyed it despite it’s slightly light body.

On tap. Aroma is sweet and roasted and toasted malt notes. Taste has some coffee and roasted malt notes, thin to medium body with some acidic notes.

Bottle. Pours black. No head. Sweet caramelized, chocolaty aroma. Taste is well balanced. Notes of coffee beans, chocolate and bread. Surprisingly "fresh".

Bottle at Oliver Twist. Pours thin brown with a very little head. Smooth and nice brew with taste of choclate and some licorice. Non of the tartness comon in porters.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Lasting light brown head. Roasted maltiness and with a dark chocolate taste. Relativly smooth dark malts and then a fine bitterness that comes after some time to finnish with a roasted malts.

Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, caramel, vegetables, smoke notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, chocolate. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120420]

Bottle at Jarnet Matsal & Bar. Black - white head. Licorice. Burned malts. Berries. Thin and weak body. Light bitterness. Dry burned. Ok bitter finish. More schwartzbier than Porter.

tap at store øl, små bryggerier, malmø very dark brown, small offwhite head. sweet slightly flowery candy like arom.a flavor is roasted malts, candy flowery hops.

On tap. Pours a beautiful clear reddish brown with a creamy, beige head. Sweet overripe fruit in the nose - but unfortunately also quite some diacetyl and phenols. Medium body, very subdued roastiness, some dried dark fruit and hardly any bitterness. Not much of a Porter! 200412
