DruncanVeasey (1533), Burbage, Germany Mar 2, 2008 The Case Is Altered, Haseley (no mobiles). 3.6% orange amber half with fresh hop snout. Lemony citrussy tang, prawny wheat afters. Big hops and character at the abv. Shame I was driving... jammin7jg (139), Withington, Manchester, England May 6, 2007 [CASK: the Old House From Home, West Didsbury, Manchester 23/01/07] The pint I had was 3.9% and was a nice mild ale. Good taste and above average. Not bad for a best bitter and worth trying. hughie (2054), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England Jan 16, 2007 Cask at the Wellington Arms, Bedford. Golden, Fruit and hop aroma with a bit of sulphur. Odd grapey taste followed by grassy hops. Thin and watery. Little bitterness. Rather ordinary. Ruprekt (20), Canterbury, England Dec 13, 2006 You could have a real session with this badboy. Incredibly moreish, but heavy enough to make it’s mark. Dry and malty with a pleasant aftertaste. I shall look forward to havein a few more of this local drop. Mungo (2474), Southampton, Hampshire, England Feb 9, 2006 Cask conditioned @ Humble Plumb, Soton. Now at 3.6%. Herbal earthy hop aromas with fruit and a hint of sulphury yeast. Dry with rounded malt feel and a long hoppy finish. The sulphur seemed out of place for a skinners beer perhaps a result of the beer being slightly tired but on the whole quite tasty.
