4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a hazy amber colour with a very thin white ring around the glass. Aroma malty, strong(but not overpowering) caramel, fruity, and sweet. Flavour is caramel, mild bitterness, zesty citrus, and a light malty sweetness giving this a great balance. Low carbonation as expected per the style.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance: Clear copper/amber with white finger thick head.
Aroma: Biscuity malt, floral and slightly fruity.
Taste: Low sweetness, medium bitterness and sourness. Pepper/coriander, biscuit, floral, fruity and note of caramel.
Palate: Fairly thick texture, light/medium body, average/prickly carbonation, malty backbone is evident in the abrupt bitter finish alongside a slight citrus tartness.
Comments: Easy to drink and enjoyable. It is what it is a ’session beer’ so on that basis is appealing and worth having again. Left a glass lace.

Bog standard bitter. Neither good nor bad, just unexciting and easy to forget. A good session ale.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Hazy golden-amber ale, not much of a head. Very tasty with a citric nose that includes a modicum of orange, but it develops a biscuit overtone in its flavour.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Slightly hazy amber with gold edge. Lumpy white head. Smell is toffee, sweet malt and a citrus and floral hop mix. Lighter than it smells once it hits the mouth, but the taste develops deeper into the drink once your taste buds accustom to it. Theres biscuit, caramel and a light cereal - but there’s also an hop overtone of citrus, lemon peel, grapefruit and tangerine. Finish is nice and bitter and I could session with this quite nicely.
