Bottle. Thin head often a feature of bottles. Dark copper colour. Beautiful light citrusy aroma, very tempting. Gently set flavor with a lengthy, delicious hoppy flavor on top of the citrusy notes eventually leading to an ready going better palate.

Bottle, from Waitrose. Orangey-amber colour. Spicy, slightly phenolic aroma. Herbal character, nice subtle bitterness and a hint of chocolate in the malts. Good complex ale.

Beershine (5201) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - SEP 1, 2010
Bottle. Deep copper. Small head. Hoppy aroma is balanced. Overall nice with good spiciness. A bit boring, but I think it would be better on cask.

500ml bottle. Pours golden with a small head. Aroma is lemon hops. Not much to start then a citrus, hoppy, bitter finish.

Cask at Questors Grapevine club in Ealing. Copper-coloured with a persistent medium-coarse white head, lots of fresh slightly lemony Goldings plus a faint fruity note on the nose, well balanced malty-bitter body, then a drying bitter - but maybe just a bit too harsh - finish.

Deepish amber in colour, but no head whatsoever! Lovely malty/fruity nose. Slightly malty sweet with an underlying bitterness which increases on the finish. Waitrose, Ponteland.
