Cask (Village Inn, Rayners Lane)
Mid orange brown, tiny loose head. Fruity pudding aroma. Soft palate. Slight zing from the hops. Big sweet malty body, slightly creamy, and lovely well balanced noble hops. Probably a session heaven, but does veer towards wet sheep after a while.

Cask at the Cove, Covent Garden, 26th April 2004. Clear amber, served in excellent condition. Aroma of hops, hay and a hint of honey (yay alliteration!) Good floral hop flavours and a soft palate with a lingering dry finish. A decent bitter.

Handpulled cask at JDW Watford. Dark amber with thin white head. Rather watery tasting for a 4% best bitter. Nothing much going on at all really. Bland.

Cask, Hoopers, East Dulwich. Darkish golden colour with a very thin white head. Aroma was a sourish peach affair. Some malt in the flavour. Very watery and generally pretty naff.
