Only a slight criticism but I do not like the label. Looks like one of those crap smutty postcards from the seaside. Might be intentional but I don’t like it. Nice citrus finsh without being flowery which often puts me off Enlgish beer. Decent enough, not bad.

Hoppy, heady english wheat beer with very citrus overtones.
We had over 200 pints of the stuff, lugged on sack trucks by Steve himself to our Glastonbury Festival campsite.
Steve said he’d brought something to appeal to both the lager and ale drinkers amongst us.
Nice one Steve!

Cloudy pale golden hue covered by a thin, but uniform white sheet of foam. Non-evolving flavours showcasing pure wheat before everything and pretty much nothing else. Faint leafy hops and light huskiness in the finish are unsatisfying. One-dimensional and boring.

Sampled on my Cornish adventure from 26 - 28 January 2007 whilst visiting my friend and ratebeer fellow member Ruprecht - Mmm, quite nice this one. Unsurprisingly, this is blond in colour and wheaty! It also has a citrus palate - reminds me a bit of Summer Lightning, but not as good. It has a little bitter aftertaste, which smacks a bit of a homebrew. Not bad, not great.

Very nice indeed. Slighty sweet, slightly wheaty, slightly meaty. I was in my car today, on my way to tescos in Truro to buy a bottle of this very ale, when i drove past the Skinners Brewery itself?! How sppoky is that! Don’t like the sound of those yank hops though? Whatever next?
