Cask handpull the Cove - what a fabulous day: Dark golden color, small frothy head - very nice looking. Not much carbonation. Nice grassy nose and taste - light all in all - but very pleasant.

Bottle. Mid gold with a fair white head. Aroma pleasantly hoppy with background malt, and some sweet malts and fruit in the taste. Not a lot of bitterness, but plenty of fizz. It’s quite good.

Beer No 31 on the Wilsons’ Road Trip 2005. Cask at Budock Vean Hotel, nr. Falmouth. Didn’t expect to find a decent pint at this 4 star hotel, so pleasantly surprised. Golden amber, white head. Peachy hop, caramelly malt in aroma. Firm mouthfeel with little carbonation. Good hoppy finish. Very enjoyable pint.

not impressed with this beer. This brewer excels in making middle of the road, on the fence unremarkable beers. This one is kinda corny / strawish which is nice for horses but not i. I also got a very unpleasant dryness from it. I should have paid more attention to the pumpclip which thankfully would normally be enough to put all but the blind off.

Light amber to orange coloured, thin foamy layer, lacing; floral hoppiness in the nose, traces of malts also; nice bitter and distinctive sweet flavour; dry, bitter, floral hoppy aftertaste, not long lasting; very pleasant !

[Cask at Volunteers Arms, GBBF, 2004] An Amber beer with a small white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and hops - and so is the flavor.

Hazy amber, light but lasting head. Rather lactic meringous like aroma, floral in a cheesy way almost. Very light flavor overall, tart vegetables, mild citrus. There’s an odd note in there that I’d almost identify as corn, it’s very grainy anyway, yet quite flowery. Definitely not interesting, nor balanced. Lively carbonation, harshly thin, dry.
