3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught (Black Door, Helsinki)
Welcome back, old friend! Looks beautiful, a classic pale ale, such a spongy head that’s nicely persistent. Soft honey malts, gentle twigginess. Sweetish bready malts, freshly toasted brown bread, some gentle bitterness. Finish softly bitter, just a hint. Smack in a bit of EKG in at flame out to crispen this up and it will be a brilliant bitter.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Might be a good ale, but was not what I was in the mood for and ended up only finishing about quarter of the pint. I find golden ales hard to taste/rate after having had several more robust bitters.
