"A strong, clean tasting Golden Beer that's not too sweet and with a fresh flowery aroma."

Pours a lightly hazy golden yellow with a nice frothy white head. Aroma of sweet pale malts, light caramel, fruity hops and some grass. Flavor is fruity esthers, light caramel, grassy and earth hops with a moderate amount of bitterness and a nice dry finish. Medium light body with low carbonation make all the above flavors stand out and well balance.

Tasted from a 500ml bottle. Pours an Opaque amber with very little head, then it settles rapidly. The aroma is, floral, grass, citrus, and very slightly happy. Tastes malty with a bitter spruce flat finish. There is very little carbonation while drinking and I expect that one could drain the glass down the throat with a steady tilt. Iím not familiar with the golden ales, but not too bad.

BlackHaddock (5186) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - OCT 2, 2013
Hand-pulled pint on 27th Sep 2013 in a local club. Golden body with a good, full white crown. The nose was both floral and mildly malty, as as the taste. A dry bitter finish comes along after the initial malty caramel notes that linger for a while in the mouth. Pleasant rather than wonderful, a good solid beer with subtle flavours and smells that show you donít need strong, overpowering brew to make a fine beer.
