Feb 28, 2008 Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Pours out in a clear reddish amber colour with a large creamy white foam. Dryish notes of grass and nutshells in the aroma with buttery maltiness in the background. Medium-bodied with balanced flavours of fudge, red berries, almonds and grassy hops. Long medium bitter finish of raspberry jam, nuts, toffee, minerals, dried oranges, and wet grass. Highly drinkable and well-composed.

Sep 15, 2007 Updated: Dec 25, 2007Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Brownish amber. Buttery malt aroma. Medium bodied with restrained sweetness and soft, chewy mouthfeel. Buttery and a tad roasty, salty finish. A well balanced mildly flavourful quaffable bitter.

May 19, 2006 Cask conditioned at the Royal Standard, Wooburn Common. Brown with a patchy white head. Dark, full bodied best bitter with biscuity malt, some caramel/toffee and a bit of fruit. Nice.

Sep 15, 2007 (Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 14 Sep 2007) Dark amber colour with frothy off-white head. Malty nose with notes of dark fruit, figs, prunes and some dusty hops. Malty taste with dark fruit, figs and prunes. Some malt sweetness, turns drier towards the finish with balanced notes of dusty hops. Smooth and balanced.
