Skinners Keel Over

500 ml brown bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 4.2%. Some of the profits of the sale of this beer benefits the National Maritime Museum Cornwall. Clear deep golden to amber colour, big white head. Very moderate aroma, stale water and dusty attic, a hint of honey and caramel comes through as the beer warms up. Flavour is moderately hoppy, hints of toffee and biscuits, fairly dry, some fruit in the finish. Nothing offensive in the flavour, this is an easy drinking session bitter, but definitely not a beer that stands out from the crowd. Unremarkable and relatively short aftertaste.

Cask gravity at The George, Bethersden. Clear copper colour, thin off white head. Flowery earthy hop aroma. Bit of fruit. Fine in mouth. Bit of muddy dryness on end. OK bitter, with nice subtle aroma

Cask @Beer Hunters (fresh). Hazy amber color, decent creamy head. Flowery hoppy nose. Mild flowery hoppy flavor with balanced grassy notes. Ok session ale - just a bit too thin and boring "for serious drinking".

Cask Handpump at the Bhurtpore Inn, Aston 10/07/2003 Amber golden coloured with a fruity aroma. Some wheat flavour. Lasting malt finish.

Is it me, or do all the beers from this brewery basically look and taste the same? Amber-brown color, rich caramelly nose, that is surprisingly a bit vinous. The mouth starts earthy, then caramel malty flavors. Malty dry finish

Amber color. Some hop aroma, nuts; some malt, seaweed. Dry taste, reminds me some Chinese food, weak body. Original and weird!

Cask, Babington Arms (JDW) Derby. Orangy hue, well fruited and underplayed in the bitter department. Good all-rounder.

[Cask conditioned] Amber coloured. This is avery mild and slightly fruity bitter. Not very bitter.
