COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Occasional.
This beer, previously available only in Cornwall, is named after one of Cornwall’s most beautiful fishing villages, pronounced ‘mowzel’. It’s now making its national début, exclusively for this Wetherspoon real-ale festival. It is amber in colour, with a superbly balanced flavour and smooth

Served by Cask at JDW, Poste of Stone, Stone. A good summertime beer with fruity aftertaste. Very smooth and more flavoursome than many Skinners beers.

Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Gold to amber with white head. Served in great condition Bittersweet hoppy notes and i would suggest really quite well hopped, bright, sharp and bitter. I thought it was pretty decent.

Pint, JDW Moon on the Square, Basildon, Essex.Pretty amber colored ale with an oatmeal coloured ephemeral head. Smooth, smooth, smooth with a nicely rounded mouth and a flowery middle. Only just bitter enough for me and the finish needed the astringency of a few more hops.

Cask @ Edward Wylie, JDW. Golden colour, white head. Standard bitter that is well executed. Aroma is light malted and citrus, with some vegetables. Flavour is malty and fruity, followed by dry biscuit.

Cask at the Crosse Keys, JDW. Clearish, rich gold pour with aum, off-white head. Woody malt aroma, some herbal tea. Lightly sweet flavor, dankness like weed, some mild citrus rot. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. Earthy, dank finish, light malts, some grass. Weird but alright.

Hand pulled at the Briar Rose, Birmingham. Copper-toned golden. Perfectly pleasant beer, with a gentle blend of straw hops and a little bit of unintrusive sweetness. (Needs a few more hops though.)

Cask conditioned handpump Eastgate Northampton. A dark copper coloured beer with a whitish head. A malty beer with tastes of straw. Chewy. Berry notes in the nose and a fruity finish. Too chewy but otherwise OK.

The Baron, 01/04/11. Murky orange amber, low dense collar, fine-dappled lace. Not much of a looker. Odd perfumed aroma like guava or papaya. Perfumed orange and tropical fruit taste finishing with bread, vanilla and lingering hop. Some plastic lunchbox and odd Belgian yeastiness/spice- coriander, presumably. Better than expected.
