Cask@Lincoln Beer Festival 2006. Nice dark beer with a malty and roasted aroma and a light plainly bitter coffee flavour. Overall a nice plain stout.

Cask, Lincoln Fest 06. Very dark brown with a small head. Aromas are malty with weetabix. Mellow berries with some sourness. Sweet with earthy hops. Flavours are sweet cola with light malts. Some zesty berry notes. Quite thin in its roast character. Not very stouty but still a decent beer.

Cask@St Albans BF. A thin stout, but a pleasant one. Enough flavour, but a light body. Light coffee and chocolate, roasty and light and pleasant.

Coffee notes are very noticeable in the aroma and flavour of this stout. Moderately dry and quite full bodied, with a smooth mouthfeel. Pretty good. Cask (gravity dispense), St Albans Beer Festival.

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - St Albans Beer Festival. A fruity stout aroma to this black beer. The taste is quite sweet and milky. Mellow with good balance.
