Bottle from the Bottle Bank. Appearance - golden amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - citrus and pale malt. Smells a bit like a shandy. Taste - plenty of lemon in fact going into lime. Pale malt again. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - it hasn’t scored well but I think this does exactly what the style demands.

Bottle 50cl. Slightly hazy medium amber color, small frothy off-white head that lasts for a while, fair lacing; shy aroma of sweet malts, toasted, light fruity notes (lemon, grapefruit), bit bready; taste is mild moderate sweet and light bitter; medium body, oily texture, mouthfeel on the verge of watery, average carbonation, finish light bitter, hint of citrus; overall a modest ale, good to drink but could use a bit more body.

Bottled, 500ml fro The Co-Op, Minehead, Somerset. Gold with white head. There is a thinnish start to this, lightly roasted malts, some sweetness, there is a light lemony note along with a sweetish vanilla hint. Pretty average.

bottle from Tesco Honiton. Lovely golden with a good white head - summer in aglass. Lovely hop aroma. Good malty base, plus lots of aromatic hops, very citrusy with hints of tropical fruit. Delicious and very, very moreish!

Gravity dispense at the Happy Man May ’14 BF, Englefield Green, 22/05/14. Very lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white swirl. Nose is citric peel, bitter orange, straw. Taste comprises mandarin, light tropicana, bread dough. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, light bitterness in the close. Ok GB think the brewer needs to get out more (of Truro) with that kind of hyperbole in the description !!

(cask @ The Crossways Inn West Huntspill. Somerset) Pale ass pale and I mean pale from a headless ale...very easy to drink. tHe kind of beer lager fans would like if they were trying cask ale without any experience . Nicely dry and lightly sweet , resembles a Pils on look=s too.
