COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & Bottled;
By sourcing the best English hops including the exceptional Cascade, recently produced for the first time by English growers and combining them with the finest malted barley, we’ve made a beer that is high in complex aromatics, with floral, cedar and citrus notes, and a long bittersweet finish.

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy gold with a few bubbles. Aroma is weak hops, grass, citrus and melon. Fruity and rewfrahing taste. Citrus at first, followed by light malts and a little caramel.

500ml bottle from Asda. Pours very pale straw yellow with smooth white head. Biscuity aroma with light sweet apple and pear scents. Taste is thin with less bitterness than expected for the style - slightly too honey sweet for my tastes. Flavours of honey and toast.

500ml Bottle - Golden in colour. Lemon, tea and some slightly soapy notes in the aroma. Soapy hops, grain, lemon and tea can all be detected in the taste.

Aroma is grassy for me the flavour is typical English Pale/Golden ale. Clean and refreshing but uninspiring. Small head and light carbonation. Decent. I’m impressed that local ingredients are used in this beer.
