Cask & Bottled;
By sourcing the best English hops including the exceptional Cascade, recently produced for the first time by English growers and combining them with the finest malted barley, we’ve made a beer that is high in complex aromatics, with floral, cedar and citrus notes, and a long bittersweet finish.

On cask at the Haymarket. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - very faint pale malt and lemon. Taste - oranges and resin. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long and fairly fresh finish. Overall - quite a lot of oat malt from what I can taste. Good texture but not as big on flavour.

Cask at Haymarket. Pours clear pale gold, thin white head. Light floral hop aromas, biscuit. Taste is light sweet, light bitter finish. Nothing exciting, but not bad either.

Cask at Gallow’s Bird,Espoo. Colour is clear yellow with small bubbly white head. Aromas and flavours: Some sweetness, hints of citrus and hints of hops. Sorry but this is very thin.

Cask @ March Hare, Dunton. Straw-coloured, with plentiful carb for a cask ale. Faint aroma of freshly-mown grass and tart citrus. Sweet taste, with very slight sour notes. Unfortunate saccharine aftertaste which spoils the otherwise enjoyable balance. Not particularly my cup of tea.

Cask conditioned at The Rose & Crown, Charlbury, Oxon. Gold with white head. Well I’m not too sure about their description but I did find that the beer had a good crisp malted body, sharp, biscuity if a touch metallic, but in a good way. There was a light citrusy note in the hop, bittersweet, yes, lasting on the palate. Overall I enjoyed this beer as it was fairly simple and easy.
