Cask, The Pub, Leicester. Hazy gold with a white foam. Aromas are apple and grain with spices. Base biscuit with woody notes and hints of lemon. Flavours are bittersweet lemon with grain and biscuit. Hints of honey with a dry finish. It’s OK.

Cask by handpump at Bon Accord, Glasgow - clear golden, thin white head, no lacing, floral and sweet malty aroma, musty, vegetable, bit of fruit, cereal, not my type of flavour

Half pint, hand pulled from cask at Bree Louise, Euston. Bare naked surface to a clear, amber-gold body. Subdued aroma of floral fruits. Malt-fruity taste. Dry on the swallow. Very average (London, 20.03.2011).

Cask-conditioned at the Cornish Beeriodical, Seven Stars, Bristol7/02/2011. As Maeib noted, a sweet malty bitter with little hop character. Forgettable.

Cask conditioned handpump The Pub Leicester (The bitterly cold in Leicester crawl). A golden beer with a loose white head. Served very cold. A pretty non-descript sweetish bitter which is verging on cloying. Lacks hops. Not so good.

Cask conditioned at The Easington, Banbury. Gold with white head. Light malty golden ale, quite fruity with a touch of apricot, late greenish hop gives a slight contrast. However it feels slightly bland through the pint.
