UPDATED: DEC 18, 2005 Pale gold colour. Quite lively for a beer served from cask. Rather odd aroma - slightly musty - no doubt the Goldings. Judging from the colour, I was expecting something clean and hoppy, but there was a lot more malt than I expected with a distinct lack of balancing acidity, although some bitterness did make an appearance rather late in the day on the finish. Quite drinkable, but not really my favoured style. Cask, GBBF, August 2003.
