Cask at local club. Light amber with white head. Almost a summer beer but fairly hoppy some citus flavour, not quite what I was expecting. Pleasant enough.

Clear medium yellow amber color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, citrus, orange, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090808]

Aug 16, 2009 Cask@Market Porter, London. Golden colour, small off-white foamy head. Aroma is wood, bready alts, earth and some sourish fruity notes. Flavour is much the same with a big fruity and wooden bitterness in the end. Pleasant.

Apr 18, 2009 Cask at Bankers Draft, Bedford (JDW). Doesn’t seem that this in an official part of the Real Ale Festival. Copper with a white head. Rather sweet citrus in the aroma. Taste is strawy developing a cardboard quality. Some bitterness. This is like eating a dartboard.
