Solid radler. Little sugary ofcourse but not too much. It reminded me of Karlovacko radler.

Naprawdę niezły radler, całkiem blisko mu do Ciuc Radlera z Rumunii. Ten macedońsi radler był zbawieniem dla mnie i moich znajomych podczas pobytu w tym kraju.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
First Macedonian beer of the Great Planet Balkans Exploration. Can from Vero. Cloudy pale yellow color, coca-cola head. Aroma of grapefruit. Taste is more fruit soda than beer, refreshing for what it is.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can from a small store in Ohrid old town. Pale yellow in colour with a slight green tint, and a small white head. Aroma of lemon, grass and sugars. Taste is bittersweet, very lemony. Sweet finish, average carbonation, thin body. As a low ABV alternative to a standard lager on a hot day in Ohrid it did its job.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
I will disagree with most serious beer drinkers on this, but I found this rather pleasing. I begin in liking the hazy grapefruit-juice appearance: if you put this in front of a beer geek and told them it is Cantillon, they would give this appearance a 4 or 5. On its merits, it looks inviting. The aroma is heavily lemon and soft-drink like, that is true. In the flavor, there’s a mix of things, but it leans to the fruit. Yet, there isn’t a great deal negative, and that’s something, given how difficult it has been to enjoy the beers of the Balkans. Sweet, to be sure, but not sugary / over the top, and enough tingling carbonation to keep it from getting syrupy heavy in mouthfeel. This is quite a bit more drinkable than the other beers I’ve had around here, so I’ll take it. And it didn’t hurt that I drank this after a long hike, Matka Canyon to Mount Vodno. Can, bought at the Taftalidze Vero.

Canned 500ml. -Shared with Marko and luttonm. Hazy yellow coloured, small white head, usual lemony (radler) nose. Sweet lemony taste with pretty high carbonation and some acidity near the end. Drinkable but everything seen befor.

Has some malt character and a medium body. Has a nice, if sugary, lemon character. OK radler, actually.

.5l Can, thanks Ogi. Pale white-yellow, hazy grapefruit juice. Sweet musky lemon aroma, juicy candy body. less sweet than most. Metallic industrial twist, some bitter lemon. Quite alright

A can from ogivlado I guess, thanks! Poured a murky yellowish body with a medium sized white head. Fresh gummibear lemony aroma, slightly tangy. Slightly sweet and slightly empty taste, again with gummibears, a bit chalky. Nice in a way, could’ve been worse.

The head is ok, the body very light. It smells watery, sugary a bit lemon. The taste is sugary, just a bit lemonade, too sugary. Not a good sugar drink. 6/2/2/2/9/2
