Pale yellow. Tall snow white head. Weak aroma of maize and brewing mash. Watery sweet flavor with little fruit and hops and maizy tones. Not bad taste, just extremely thin.

caesar (4713) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAY 9, 2004
Clear yellow color, short white head. Aroma is a bit malty, some hops, grainy, some hay. Taste is sweet malty, grainy. I expected a crappy pils, but it’s quite ok actually.

UPDATED: NOV 24, 2010 Hoppy pilsener. Clear golden coloured with a lasting white head. Taste is hoppy with a good bitterness. Decent pilsener.
Rerate. Original rating 2.4. Tjee. I already had this one. That’s terrible. It tastes just half as good as before.

Clear golden, lasting head. Lots of carbonation. Apart from the hops some sulphur in the nose. Hoppy flavour (Saaz), bitter finish. Czech pilsener style, pretty ok. Thank you LeoR for bringing and caesar for sharing it!

Standard pilsener, OK if drunk from bottle or glass, but tastes very bad when drunk from cans.

Geiserich (3103) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - FEB 25, 2004
Bottled: "Skopskoj svetle pivo"
Golden color, strong carbonated, creamy head with good lace. Aroma is herbal hoppy. Taste has a hint of malt, very astringent and hoppy. Long aftertaste, bitter and very metallic. Not bad, but the metallic aftertaste is very unpleasant.

a surprising novelty to find in newcastle. not the freshest, very light golden, mild hop bitterness and a strangely cotton-like texture
