Nice thick head on an amber colour. The taste is very refreshing and stisfactory. There are hints of caramel, forest herbs and grain. Flowery impression on the palate.

May 12, 2008 (on tap) Small maltnose, dark amber color, beige head. Odd blend of a subtle english carbonation and a metallic german hopping, splitting the beer and leaving a boring, premium-beer feeling in my mouth. No trace of any marple-influence.

Apr 13, 2008 Bottle. Huge beige thick creamy head that mostly lasted. Clear sparkling body with a pale amber color. Excellent lacework. Aroma of caramel, forest notes, grain and mild maple syrup. Over the palate came light floral and hoppy notes. Light to medium bodied with an average carbonation and mild dry texture. Light bitter flavor with some counter sweetness. Light dry and bitter finish. The maple syrup did not come through as I thought they would.
