Pours beautyful amber with a big frothy/creamy offwhite head. Nice aroma of spices - cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger... these spices are also apparent in the flavour, with cinnamon being the strongest. The mouthfeel is rich, creamy - prickles a bit on the tongue - it is vinious, but hides very well the 10% - has a hint of hops in the end. A very nice beer, with a christmas feel to it. thewolf (3965), Kolding, Denmark Aug 17, 2008 Bottle, bought @ the brewery.

Pours coppery golden with a big, frothy/bubbly yellowish head. Fair amount of bubbles in the liquid. Complex aroma, lots of liquorice, some pepper, light cinnamon, quite a lot of nutmeg. Fine mouthfeel with medium mouthfeel. Some plummy malts as well. Impressive, powerful flavour. Light viniousness, some plums, grapes and oranges. Lots of ginger in the flavour and nutmeg has a clear place in the beer. Very sticky finish, where the spices play around in my mouth. Impressive, even though it is far too spiced for its own good. FrankJohansen (2807), Sabro, Denmark Feb 24, 2008 Bottle. Hazy orange colour with a huge white head. Sweet malty aroma and taste with heavy fruity notes. The alcohol is hardly noticeable. Good beer. Ungstrup (11378), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 28, 2007 Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and alcohol, while the flavor is plainly sweet malty with notes of caramel. Miksu (1291), Jyväskylä, Finland Aug 19, 2007 0.5 l bottle. Hazy yellow brown color with creamy head. Spicy, soapy, raisiny and lemony aroma with notes raspberry. Very cloying caramel flavor with honey, lemon, alcohol, fruity esters and clove. Very sugary mouthfeel.
