Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, lemons, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, hay, malt, and caramel, leading to a bitter finish. How can you put a hop harvest beer on the market two months before the harvest? using hops from last year? they don’t taste like hops from down under.

Bottle. An unclear one, amber in color and with a dense, finger-thick beige head. Rather hoppy nose, lightly cheesy, with some citrus notes and pine cones. Almost toffee-ish maltyness. Full-bodied and soft on the palate, semi-sweet. Some sweetness in the flavor, caramel, piney and citrusy hops and a fine bitterness. Nothing extraordinary going on here, not at all, but at least it’s quite drinkable. Too malty I think. 131231
