A golden ale with distinct hop character and a refreshing bitternes, added English ale malt as well as German Münchner and caramel malts. Powerful and well hopped.

Alkoholstyrke 6.3%. Humlen længe leve….

Small off white head. Clear golden body. Sweet woods and malts to the nose, some hints of apple - missing hops. Taste; candied hops (all 5 that sweet?), caramel malts. Smooth easy sweet (wheat?) on palate. Finishes with sweet buns. Way too sweet for IPA style, maybe it’s IPA-bock. [50cl br btl abv6%, B@Liva, T@Middelfart Fyn DK]

Light amber coloure with a fading small white head. Noses of buiscuits, wet grass and florally hopped. The taste is soft textured with some floral sweetness and some bitterness. The ginish is lightly slick and short-medium.

Bottle from Super Brugsen, CPH - golden pour with small white head. Sweet fruity and malty, grassy, some light hop nuance. Ok, but wouldn’t really would define an IPA.

I suspect I got a bad bottle because it had no IPA tastes at all but reminded most of a sour, ugly Danish beer.

Bärnstensfärgad med litet vit skum. Doftar ganska mycket humle! Smaken är lite mindre av humlen men helt ok!

Bottle split with JF at a Sue’s away mini tasting in the ’Sham, 11/03/14, acquired from a shop at Copenhagen Flug. Clear golden amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pale malts, light metallic notes, biscuit, orchard fruits. Taste comprises summer fruit, caramel, sweet licks, bready malt. Medium bodied, light prickly carbonation, grassy closure. Medicore affair, don’t care what the brewer calls this one - it’s no IPA by RB stylee, akin to a poorly done ESB!

Bottle 6.0%. Pours light amber wow head. Lovely nose with lots of hops and some lemon. Taste is very sweet and a bit muddled. Not bad, but challenging. Sweet finish and a bit clawing. Could be nice with spicy food.

50cl bottle thanks to onkelgobber. This is 6%. Appearance - golden with some lace. Nose - tangy lemon with a honey malt backdrop. Something medicinal like mountain herbs. Taste - really tangy lemon curd, plant stalks underneath. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a finish that is both sweet and dry in elements. Overall - a really interesting beer that challenges the palate.
