A golden ale with distinct hop character and a refreshing bitternes, added English ale malt as well as German Münchner and caramel malts. Powerful and well hopped.

Alkoholstyrke 6.3%. Humlen længe leve….

Bottle. Hazy nice looking beer. Good but somewhat weak aroma. The first sip is very sweet, but you get used to it as you go. Nice bitter finish, but fire off some dry hops and tune down the sweetness and the beer would lift quite a bit.

Bottle. Hazy golden body, with a medium white head. Aroma is hops and flowers. Flavor is hoppy and fruity. It has a bitter aftertaste, wich I like.

No no no... How can you make such a sweet IPA? The aroma is fierce in its fruity hoppyness, but the taste is a let down. The brewery seems to have a weak point for adding sugar, which makes their beer... well... weak?

On tap. Bit hazy golden body with a medium creamy white head. Flowery and hoppy aroma with citric notes. Malty body with fruity and grassy notes. Bit resinous but quite good IPA.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2008 Draught Yellow-orange gold, lacy rings. Hops, but also a faint vomity smell (sorry), cheesy hops. Rather harsh hops, with resiny character. Harsh MF and light finish, not much body. Well, OK, I guess, certainly not my favourite.

Bottle. Not much of an IPA by my opinion has a serious lack of bitterness. Dark golden with white head. Aroma with floral notes. Taste malty and very little bitterness.

50cl btl. best bf 2010-03-28 nice aroma, a little bit too sour, and a little bit too yeasty for my taste for an ipa - but better than macro beers. boring/wrong for an ipa 6/10 clear gold colored with small white head. looks good. 3/5 flavor: hints of a good beer, but drowned in alc. and weird hopping. reminds me of tuborg guld, more than an india pale ale. Aftertaste is great though, moving through various kinds of bitterness and sweetness at the same time. actually, if they had called the beer something else, i’d say it was great. But IPA creates expectations. Rating is as if i had blindtested it. 7/10 palate 3/5 overall 13/20 general comments - no need to try this one, go for herslev gorms bryg, any mikkeler or ølfabrikken ipa, or check ratebeer - much better ipa’s out there.
