Belgisk_Olklub (218), Viby J, Denmark Jun 11, 2008 Bottle, 50 cl. Average size, creamy white lasting head with good lacing. Hazy orange body. Heavy hop aroma of flowers, perfume, citrus and lemon. Medium body, oily texture and a bitter carbonation. The flavor is moderate sweet and heavy bitter.
rane (354), Nibe, Denmark Aug 7, 2008 Bottle. Not much of an IPA by my opinion has a serious lack of bitterness. Dark golden with white head. Aroma with floral notes. Taste malty and very little bitterness. Pinball (353), Allerød, Denmark Jul 25, 2008 50cl btl. best bf 2010-03-28
nice aroma, a little bit too sour, and a little bit too yeasty for my taste for an ipa - but better than macro beers. boring/wrong for an ipa
6/10
clear gold colored with small white head. looks good. 3/5
flavor: hints of a good beer, but drowned in alc. and weird hopping. reminds me of tuborg guld, more than an india pale ale. Aftertaste is great though, moving through various kinds of
bitterness and sweetness at the same time. actually, if they had called the beer something else, i’d say it was great. But IPA creates expectations. Rating is as if i had blindtested it.
7/10
palate 3/5
overall 13/20
general comments - no need to try this one, go for herslev gorms bryg, any mikkeler or ølfabrikken ipa, or check ratebeer - much better ipa’s out there.
Plimmer (234), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 16, 2008 Bottle 50cl. Amber/Yellow/Golden slightly hazy body with medium size offwhite head leaving some laces. Lots of hops in the nose. Hops dominates the flavour but also a lot of sweetness. Bitter/sweet aftertaste. trapez (189), Hilleroed, Denmark May 31, 2008 Bottle 0.5 l. Bought Irma Hilleroed. Golden yellow colour with white head. Aroma filled with hops, a bit fruity and yeast. Bittersweet taste. It’s not possible to differentiate the five different hops which should be part of the the brew, but hops are there allright. Low carbonation.
